Educational Outreach

· Sponsor the nation's largest High School Oratory Contest

· Coordinate more than 100 outreach booths and parade entries

· Educate Tennesseans about fetal development through brochures, speakers, displays, and local chapter efforts

· Promote the Choose Life specialty license plate, Tennessee's 6^thbest seller, with proceeds towards agencies with life-affirming outreach

· Opened Grace Pregnancy Resource Center in Nashville. Located just 3 doors from one of Tennessee's busiest abortion facilities.

Legislation

· Passage of SJR 127 in the legislature, a pro-life amendment to the Tennessee Constitution

· Passage of ban on use of telemedicine for RU486 abortions

· Expansion of state's Unborn Victims of Violence Act to include children prior to viability

· Passage of resolution, HR 110, honoring Tennessee's pro-life pregnancy resource centers

· Administratively defunding Tennessee Planned Parenthood affiliates of tax dollars, removed preferential language from Tennessee code and required process by which first priority for distribution of Title X dollars be given to local public health departments

· Passage of Freedom from Coercion Act requiring the posting of state's longtime non-coercion policy in any facility where abortions are performed including private physician offices, hospitals, clinic and abortion facilities

· Became first state to 'opt out' of abortion components of federal health care plan

Local Outreach

· Tennessee Right to Life chapters in 35 counties

· Thousands reached through weekly events at churches, information packets and county fair displays

· Emergency grants to pregnant women and families
