Knox County Right to Life maintains the Rachel Mourning Memorial located at Lynnhurst Cemetery. It is a healing place for the victims of abortion and where those burdened by an abortion can come and grieve. We have found flowers, stuffed animals etc. at the statue. The statue is a "modernized version" of the biblical Rachel--a woman kneeling with roses. The inscription on the memorial is from Jeremiah 31:15--"A voice is heard in Ramah, Lamenting and weeping bitterly. It is Rachel weeping for her children because they are no more." For more information, contact the chapter office at 865-689-1339.

Knox County Right to Life has developed the Sanctity of Life Sunday School Curriculum. This one-of-a-kind program is a scripture based K - 12 curriculum that is designed not only to combat the Culture of Death but also to build a Culture of Life. It has a highly flexible format with parent and teacher components and is well suited for Sunday School classes. All materials necessary are included in this multi-sensory, incremental program.  The project took three years to develop and we are excited about the plans that God has for it. For more information and to reserve the curriculum, contact the chapter office at 865-689-1339 or trlknox@knology.net.
